I know I probably shouldn't have but I just bought the new S90 since I had a 10% off coupon and will get a $20 Canon loyalty rebate since I had previous Canon cameras.

Just took a couple pictures of a dark garage and this thing is incredible for a compact. The F2.0 lens and the high iso performance make the garage seem much brighter than it really is.

I have the S50is which I believe was replaced by the S90is and it is a decent Point and Shoot camera. I like the size of the S90is a little better than the S50is. They seem to have added a few more features and reduced the size a bit.
Good luck and congrats!!!!

This one was under very poor light and at ISO1600. I find aquarium pictures the most difficult for a P&S due to the low light and the moving targets. (oh yea no flash)

No "aquarium" setting on any of the menus? I have that setting on my Canon S5IS.
Buns of Steel:yay: Nice lighting and composition.

All those settings are really for is a white balance setting. I use P or Tv (shutter priority) almost exclusively.

Both of these were taken on the aquarium setting. I fiddled around with auto and a couple of other settings but the ADD kicked in so left on aq.

Thank you. I think the top pic is a bit noisy but I did nothing to the image other than the ©.
The aquarium in Balmer. These are the only two that I have on photobucket, but I do have a bunch more from Balmer and the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores that are on my comp that I haven't moved yet.
