I know a ton of posts were up about winter shows.. I need more info on the shows. I am looking for something to take my monster too.. just to get his feet wet. He is an OTTB and has no exp goin to shows. The posts that I have seen are all hunter/jumper. Looking for something relativley small, as I don't want to overwhelm him. Something Walk-trot? or in hand classes. Anything local. Any info would be great. Thanks

The local shows are usually small... just bring him to school, if he is good take him in the ring. If he's terribly upset, plan on lunging a little, walking around and going home. Get him off the farm and exposed to new things as often as you can. Also remember, he ran and shipped around, so probably not alot is going to phase him if you give him time to just be a horse and chill, then start schooling for a new career.
