Why don't you tell everyone what you think of illegals and 'immigration reform'. O'Malley has opened his arms to them, which has angered many residents (read: voters). What would be your approach to this issue, one that is actually important (unlike that other issue you babble on about so much)?

This should be good, but I think I already know his answer.

I just read an article today about Northern Virginia and their crackdown on illegals, who belong to gangs. The report said that these illegals were running to Montgomery County and PG. What do we do? We give them Driver's licenses.

What do we do? We give them Driver's licenses.I wonder how a Gov. Cusick would respond to this situation. I doubt he would take anything away from them.

Too bad he is unwilling to answer, and can only seem to discuss the perceived failings of CS.

 I like the "illegal" immigrants as they are just undocumented, and I see no reason for Americans to fear them or to reject them.

The illegals show a high standard of integrity that I admire like strength, determination, valor, perseverance, patience, persistence, durability, and much more, so I like their ways better then the way of those Americans that stand against those hardy people.

I like the "illegal" immigrants as they are just undocumented, and I see no reason for Americans to fear them or to reject them. Here's the problem, dumbo: no matter what you label them, they are taking money - taxpayer money - from the system while putting in very little.

Even calling them "undocumented" is an admission that we do not know how many are here, who they are, or exactly where they are taking residence. All those things are particularly important for politicians because local and state representatives need to know where and how to allocate monies. Emergency/medical services, infrastructure maintenance, social services, zoning and the future progress thereof are intricately tied to where and how people are distributed within a given area. If you don't have an accurate census, it can be very difficult to properly fund an area.

So let's say, for example, that you consider the populations of Garrett and Montgomery Counties. Over the course of the next year, Garrett's population remains stable with a net change of 0. In that same time, Montgomery grows by 10,000 people, especially in certain hotspots. How can you take care of those people if you do not know they exist?

They may think they're doing something good for themselves by slipping under the system and remaining 'undocumented', but they are ultimately hurting themselves. And politicians like yourself - or like you claim to be - are only lending to the damage. Moreover, you are damaging fellow Americans and the nation we (not you, apparently) love, which is not fair to anyone on either side.

The illegals show a high standard of integrity that I admire like strength, determination, valor, perseverance, patience, persistence, durability, and much more, so I like their ways better then the way of those Americans that stand against those hardy people.Do you not know the office for which you are seeking election? Do you not remember who you wish to represent?

First you proved that you support Islamic terrorists more than Americans. And now this. That's beyond pathetic - it's practically treasonous.

He's not going to win, he doesn't even want to win. What really bothers me is they wasted time putting his name in the running. It's such BS, I just cant believe Joe Blow off the street could throw their name in. Doesn't make sense.

What other laws do you feel it's OK to ignore?
 All laws of any kind must be scrutinized by one's own conscience.

Be it God's law or Civil (gov) Law or Church law or Company's laws (rules) or even our own personal rules must be subject to our own conscience and nothing else.

But that does not mean "ignore" as you say - no, it means do what is right and defy those that are wrong, and that means we take notice of all laws and ignore none.

:coffee: I do believe it is totally the other way around.

The undocumented workers and families pay income taxes and sales taxes while they are not eligible for the gov services.

So they are putting much in and getting little out.

:coffee: All that emphasizes the need for documenting the people and then they just get absorbed right into the system and then the problem is fixed.

Documentation is the right remedy.

I do believe it is totally the other way around. You believe everything is "the other way around" from reality. Because you and you alone believe something does not make it right.

The undocumented workers and families pay income taxes and sales taxes while they are not eligible for the gov services.

So they are putting much in and getting little out.If that were true, CA would not be in financial chaos largely due to pouring money out to illegals. MD too is headed down that path. And you wish to make it worse.

Documentation is the right remedy. So then, you must want to repeal any sort of immigration law; just allow anyone to come in and go as they please. You're not helping your case.

I am seeking to be the next Governor of the State of Maryland.

I will represent every person for the State of Maryland.Since you do seem aware of that, perhaps you should review the oath you would take, should you be elected:SEC. 9. Every person elected, or appointed, to any office of profit or trust, under this Constitution, or under the Laws, made pursuant thereto, shall, before he enters upon the duties of such office, take and subscribe the following oath, or affirmation: I, _______________, do swear, (or affirm, as the case may be,) that I will support the Constitution of the United States; and that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to the State of Maryland, and support the Constitution and Laws thereof; and that I will, to the best of my skill and judgment, diligently and faithfully, without partiality or prejudice, execute the office of________________, according to the Constitution and Laws of this State, (and, if a Governor, Senator, Member of the House of Delegates, or Judge,) that I will not directly or indirectly, receive the profits or any part of the profits of any other office during the term of my acting as___________ (originally Article I, sec. 6, renumbered by Chapter 681, Acts of 1977, ratified Nov. 7, 1978).Can you point out where it says you are to represent illegals (i.e., foreign nationals)? Or where you can do as you please, regardless what the law says?

It is me being a Christian first and an American second.Christians are not supposed to support immigration law?

You keep missing the point that selfishness is not a value in the process of making things better.

:coffee: Any person in Maryland would therefore be a citizen of Maryland, or at least subject to the authority of the Governor which will be me.

And I do not promote doing as I please - no, I say we must do right regardless of who it pleases or displeases.

Christians are not supposed to support immigration law?
:coffee: Neither Christians nor citizen nor stranger is to support any law that is immoral or abusive.

Every person's conscience must be first and foremost.

You keep missing the point that selfishness is not a value in the process of making things better.Everything you do is based on selfishness, as evidenced in your posts. You wish to undermine and alter America into something it was not meant to be because you perceive "injustice", "abuse", whatever.

Any person in Maryland would therefore be a citizen of Maryland, or at least subject to the authority of the GovernorSo you disagree with the state's oath for governor; good to know. They are not citizens because they are illegal, or undocumented as you affectionately call them. You should get used to it because it's not changing anytime soon.

I'm glad you have finally put your views out for others to see - even though it took you a few weeks. Now everyone has one more reason to vote against you. :yay:
