THE EDITOR'S COLUMN: It's been quite a year since Obama's election Morning Journal: Serving Lorain, Erie, Huron and western Cuyahoga counties (http://www.morningjournal.com/articles/2009/11/01/opinion/mj1823468.txt)

Humorous sarcasm.

I liked this comment:

" As one who voted for Obama, I am also dissappointed at the slow pace of his promise delivery's. Yet it's almost to be expected when right fringe detractors like this editor do nothing but harp and criticize, invent myths and lies, and do everything possible to block progress. What a shock if this editor - or any credible faux news addict were to actually propose just one 'better idea'??? They never do - they never have. And like a bunch of old embittered codgers; they never will.
Skoch's most ridiculous comment in his indictment: referring to Bush's ruination of the economy and wasted war efforts as 'an economic molehill'!?
Yeah, right Tom - like anyone believes THAT? "

I guess he's got his head buried so far up Olberman's butt he hasn't heard of tort reform, or letting insurance companies compete across state lines, for example.

These folks want to live in a country like Russia, but keep their Obama given homes here and turn the country into Russia.

The last 3 are funny.

I liked this comment:That guy should be blaming the O himself for becoming so caught up in what the centrist/right press is saying about him, not the press for doing its job of reporting. But apparently, he doesn't believe the news is supposed to report, but to make policy, or something. No wonder he voted for the new king.

The Republicans have a problem with the "selling across state lines" issue. In 1993 they used that same argument against the Clinton health care plan. Then, in 1994 when they became the dominant party in both Senate and House, it was never brought up.

When is the conservative base ever going to hold their feet to the fire on this one if they ever get another chance?

IMO many Republican's are equally sick of their own political wind bags and we have crosshairs on them also. I just wish Democrats would stop trying to quantify their own corruption with the analogy of "look he did it first so that somehow makes it OK". ANYONE who's a rat bastard politician, throw them out, every house needs cleaning!!! :coffee:
