View Full Version : Aquatech in Callaway
Is this place ever open? Made a special trip for hot tub stuff because I ran out, and it was closed. This isn't the first time either, once before it happened. So I called the number on the door to see if they were just closed for lunch although there was no "I'll be back in 30" sign and their voice mail came on and said the mailbox was full, which tell me they have not been open in a while.
I hate wasting my time.

Try Leisure Pools and Spas on Great Mills Road in the Bowes Books Building.

Saw it on the way back and got what I needed. Never again will I waste a trip to aquatech. If I had known about the Leisure Pools and Spas I would not have even gone to AT

Perhaps they are seasonal and aren't open year round.

After making three trips to get spa chemicals and finding them closed each time- (went there during advertised hours), I gave up and started ordering everything from spadepot.com. Think they must have lost other peoples business as well.
P.S. spadepot is cheaper too.

Does Dorothy still own that? Was there any displays in the window?
I honestly thought that it closed up a while ago. I could be wrong though.

No idea who Dorothy is and yes there were stocked shelves and all, just no people.

Will from now on. In typical man-style I never think of it until I am dumping the last into the hot tub and go "Damn I am out, need to get more" so it was a short notice thing.
I actually got my hot tub form Spadepot.com.

As much as I want to buy local, I am not going to pay the prices that they want for pool and spa supplies. I order all my supplies from Leslie's. The products are great and the prices are much cheaper.

:yeahthat: We normally order from Leslie's or In The Swim, mostly from Leslie's. A couple of times, though, we found ourselves running around town like Pete had to because we hadn't planned better.
