They said that there were 2 shooters, and that one was caught/killed while the other fleed - and that later there was shooting at a different location. I can feel the anger that others feel..I have to stop myself for a minute to remember to be sad...I want to ignore ignorance and not spend my anger over some PC internet hardass. My anger deserves to be at whoever did this to those brave men and women at Ft Hood..many of whom were about to serve in our war. How disgusting they were killed here on our own soil..when they were prepared to go and possibly die for us abroad. I am sick to think of the talent, heart, and souls we have lost. To think they volunteered to sacrafice for our country..and someone here..that they were protecting...thought so little of their lives. Muslim or no..he was a terrible, sick, disgusting, despicable, human being.

He is indeed muslim...was brought to the attention of the military before..for making internet postings that compared a suicide bomber with a brave soldier. I don't want to jump to too many conclusions with a man that by all accounts was serving the country..he had concerns about being deployed again..we even had a local man commit suicide by cop..over something similar. The FBI has said that they have ruled out terrorism..I think it is premature and wrong..but I like to think they wouldn't make that proclamation without reason... but if you ignore the fact that he was muslim..made comments about suicide bombers..and thought that muslims should fight against the "agressors" then you are a complete naive moron with the intelligence of a piss ant..I feel sad for people who don't realize that much of the muslim world wants to murder them..because they are the most surprised when these things happen.

I pray for those hurt and injured. They are the best of our country..and they were gunned down like they were nothing. I am proud to help in the way I can..helping with landing systems for our troops..but it is NOTHING compared to going to that FT Hood center..and preparing to go to war.

The base commander at Fort Hood says soldiers who witnessed a shooting rampage that left 13 people dead reported that the gunman shouted "Allah Akbar!" before opening fire at the Texas post.

Lt. Gen. Robert Cone told NBC's "Today" show on Friday that suspected shooter, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, made the comment, which is Arabic for "God is great!" before the rampage Thursday that also left 30 people wounded.

Military officials say they are still piecing together what may have pushed Hasan, an Army psychiatrist trained to help soldiers in distress, to turn on his comrades.
