Diaper-wearing woman awarded $150,000 - UPI.com (http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2009/11/05/Diaper-wearing-woman-awarded-150000/UPI-20611257453392/)
This poor lady couldnt walk off into the woods like other highway workers so she had to wear diapers.
I suppose pretty soon all State Road trucks will be required to carry porta-potties to every work site.

If they're that far from a bathroom, they should provide a porta potty.

That makes TONS of sense.... where and when are they going to change them? Then let's say it's a hot day, the combination of sweat and urine.... no thank you, I'd rather squat in the woods. I always see a port-a-potty at job sites

I've in the woods..hasn't she ever been a girl scout. I would way rather just carry some tp with me..than wear a diaper.

OSHA Requires porta johns or restrooms for construction sites. I do believe that the requirements for mobile road crews or construction may be different. I don't do a lot of roadwork. The last few road jobs I did were long term, 6 month projects and we had porta johns, we all still just walked somewhere else to go though.
Standing in my pee all day does not appeal to me.
yet.

Where were the men taking their potty breaks? Ya know, I'm all for equal employment and whatever, but sometimes females carry it a bit far. I don't feel that special accomodations should be made for someone who willingly takes a job. She should have considered the working conditions before she took the job.

I have to say I agree with you. I like to camp and I can remember many times putting my back up against a tree. When nature calls, do what you gotta do.

I agree too. I specifically never applied for a job that would require me to wait for somebody to relieve me if/when I needed to use the restroom. If I couldn't go at my own free will, then it wasn't the job for me.

:killingme dude you kill me......
I know quite a few lady golfers that run off into the woods....i mean its hard to believe but females did do that before we had plumbing! I can't fathom how going in a diaper on a hot road all day is an alternative to just going naturegirl...
that crazy astronaut that drove from Tx to FL or whatever made wearing diapers cool.....
"and if peeing your pants is cool...consider me Miles Davis..."

You ever take the time to consider that this might be the very reason women should wear skirts?

You're right. All women should wear skirts..with nothing underneath them. That way we are fully prepared to piss in the woods if need be. Britney spears and paris hilton have the right idea after all!

It would be totally awkward to rinse it out though...some chick is brushing her hair..another is putting on lipgloss..and then I waltz over. "don't mind me just rinsing out my piss cup, the weather's nice today"

One would think. It's not very sanitary having all those people peeing all over the place, regardless of gender.

Seriously? You don't think an employer should provide a toilet for workers? So what if men go into the woods to pee, they should also be provided a toilet.
I've peed in the woods plenty, but I would darn sure expect a toilet to be provided by an employer.

All things being equal... what does the male worker do when lunch cramps his guts and he feels a violent squirt oncoming??? :lmao:

He runs into the woods and looks for a bush with large leaves, and hopes there are no snakes where he decides to cop a squat.

Do I think Penn Line should be required to carry potties for the ladies? I do not. They move along the highway slowly as they work, They would have to slide the thing along the highway as they go. Should they be forced to purchasea vehicle with a toilet built in? No.
The nature of the job is what it is. Get used to it or work somewhere else.
Women want equal pay for equal jobs, They want jobs that historically are done by men, then they want perks that men have never gotten?
That is not the way it should work.

They should anyway. If you or I stop to water a tree, and we get caught in the act, we register as sex offenders for the rest of our lives.

Yeah, by gawd! That should have been one of the questions she asked, right after "how much does the job pay?"
"60K a year? Okay, what about bathroom accomodations? Where do I pee?"

I cant see the highway department putting toilets in their trucks. Nor do I wish to pay for it.

I've seen SHA or county trucks with porta pots on the back (flatbed trailer). It's not that hard to provide a toilet.
