Vraiblonde's back yard

Since we have had a few posts asking about “what is the best bar…..” why don’t we start a post about the individual bars and describe what they are all about.

This Bar we are going to speak of is:
Vraiblonde's Back Yard

Here are a few questions to get the ball rolling:

How often do you go?

How is the entertainment? DJ, Live Music?

What is the average crowd like?
What about their Age?

How are their drinks?

Why is this place better than the others?
Is there anything you don’t like about this club?

I have been there and it is one of my favorite's. I go about twice a month in the warm months and once a month during the cooler months. Since the owner has ignored the "No smoking" rule it is a place you can go and not worry about the Maryland Nazi's showing up to ruin it.

They used to have pre-recorded music but lately they have a live band every night. The average crowd is about 12, 35+ years old, funny, rabble rousers and it is not uncommon to see someone crashed out sleeping.

The drinks are cheap, about 75 cents per beer and the menu changes but they always have the old favorites.

I've never been there, but I'm seriously considering it after reading your review. Is there a children's menu?

Now that they have a house band, the entertainment is awesome

What is the average crowd like?
Best ever! Never been a fight or drunken destructiveness.

What about their Age?
The youngest regular is getting ready to be 12 and the oldest is mid-60s.

How are their drinks?
You can have whatever you want

Why is this place better than the others?
You can smoke, relax, have excellent food, hang by the firepit, nap in the hammock, very friendly environment, doubles as a hotel.

Is there anything you don’t like about this club?
The dining tables leave something to be desired, but I hear that's being addressed.

Yes, but don't go to Vince's backyard with a kid, he feeds them Jalapeno poppers.

She even has the toilet paper rolls on that crepe myrtle for the ladies.
