Two birds are sitting on the power wire in front of my house. They are both facing away from me but I can tell the male is a house finch and he keeps trying to mount the other bird. It steps to the right. He tries again. It steps to the right again, seemingly uninterested. After a few more attempts I can finally see what the other bird is...

A black-capped chickadee. It finally flies away.
