A rosebreasted grosbeak! The pictures are a little fuzzy because I'd just put the screen back in the kitchen window. Darn!

There is a Rose Breasted Grosbeak doing hit and runs on my feeders right now. He is loving the safflower seed. I never noticed before how striking they are from behind, especially in flight.

Also, I moved a juvenile snapping turtle from the road this morning, but it was very lethargic. I checked to see if he had been hit but he looked okay.

I just took these this morning, first time I'd caught both the male and female on the feeder at the same time. And two pics of the hummingbird I finally was able to get.

All of my shots are the same green feeder, from the same angle, everytime. Boooring. At least you get them in different spots.

I'm surprised they're still hanging around, they're usually gone after a week or two.
