| An evening visitor In my front yard I have these purple coneflowers. I HATE the things but that's what was planted here before I moved in and I just haven't dug them up yet. At any rate, they're starting to go to seed now. Happened to look outside my kitchen window and found this little guy going to town. At least SOMEONE is enjoying these ugly things. ![]() (For you photo techie types: this was taken with a Canon Powershot S2 IS)

| I just hate the way they look once they die out. It's weird here, every other townhome here in my complex has these awesome black eyed susans. I'd much rather have those instead.

| Black eyed susans are almost yellow cone flowers - they will look just as bad in a few weeks! |
