Put a "Whites Only" sign at your bird feeder.

I've been into birds for many years, and I put feeders out all winter. When the grackles and cowbirds show up, it is time to put the feed away. Spring is here, and the birds need to switch to natural feed, pests and bugs. The only feeder I keep year round is the yellow colored finch feeder with Thistle seed. The only draw back is that thistle seed is on the pricey side. Put the sunflower, etc. seeds away until next winter. Your finches, etc. will still feed. The goldfinches, sparrows, and other small birds will not go away. Let the bigger birds take care of your yard pests.

First, like anything else, you must fatten it up for the kill. If you are a good cook, no BBQ sauce needed!!!!!
