Free ebook download sites for Kindle

Anybody have any good ones? I have a friend who is going to be in the hospital/rehab for a few months and I'd like to find some places to get some good reading material for him. TIA!

A while back I received an email saying that the library had e-books? I never got around to looking into it though.

You need to find a website like Free Kindle Books, Kindle Tips, News & Commentary | Kindle Nation Daily | . They have many many free books everyday that you can download. You don't need Amazon Prime or a Kindle. I do have Amazon Prime and I like it, but I don't ever use it to get books for the Kindle. I have probably a thousand books on my tablet and I might have paid for $10.00 for all of them. There are a bunch of sites that have free books, but virtually all of them show up on Kindle Nation too.

I go to the Amazon Kindle store and type in "free books". I've gotten a lot of good ones there, but problem is you have to weed through to find what you like. Games are nice too. All the games on my kindle are free and I love them.

Try Pixels of Ink
Free & Bargain Kindle Books | Pixel of Ink

You have to check it daily though as most of the books are only free for a limited time. I currently have three pages of books on my to read list...all from that site.
