The Devil Wears Prada

Has anyone read this?

I'm about halfway through it and am wondering what others think of it?

I ended up skimming, then finally just read the ending to see if anything interesting was going to happen.

Because I am a guy I saw the movie. It was worth an on demand rental but would have been pizzed had I paid $9 a ticket or whatever it costs to see a movie these days. I did catch hell for watching a so called chick flick!! What can I say, I like Meryl Streep!

I haven't read the novel, but I saw the movie (How uncultured! ) It was entertaining, mainly because of the brilliant Meryl Streep performance.

I can see the novel being boring, though. The movie is fun because of the cast and dialogue. The plot isn't exactly thrilling or surprising.
