Memoirs of a Geisha

Bought it last week, and started reading it last night. Good book so far. Reminds me of a book I read years ago, but I can't remember the title. Anyone else read it? I haven't seen the movie.

I read it and liked it a lot. I could not believe it was written by a man

Ironic. A man writing about the coming of age of a young girl.

I enjoyed both the book and then the movie. That's a rarity...the movies are usually a letdown.

The movie was done beautifully. I just watched it again last weekend and it still amazes me.

A couple more pages of the book, then I'll be done and ready to watch the movie.
