Exactly! My great grandma was savagly attacked by 3 feral cats while on her way to church. She was headed to midnight mass in her motorized wheel chair, when out of nowhere she was mauled. They rushed her to the hospital but it was to late by the time they got her there.

Either that or she smelled like fish.

You should help grandma with a bath.

Hi, I saw a group at the SMC fireworks that does just that. They're called Feral Cat Rescue. I think they are associated with St. Mary's Animal Welfare League (SMAWL), but I'm not sure. I didn't get thier flyer, so I can only lead you there.

Good luck ( and you ARE doing the right thing, don't listen to those creul people : ) )

I'm not sure if they can help but they may be able to provide assistance, information or be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi there

I have been spaying/neutering barn cats and ferals for about 6 years. The Well Pet Clinic in Lexington Park will work with you as so will Lucky Ones and the Waldorf Well Pet Clinic. These places, especially since you are taking care of and want to do the right thing for the cats and want them back will more then likely work with you on the cost. On the average it is about $25 to $35.00 for a mle cat and $30.00 to $60.00 for a female depending on age and etc. I have all of the contact info and etc. I have also been working with the new rescue group FCR mentioned in one of the postings and they are doing what they can but it is hard and takes alot of time to get grants and etc to try and cover the cost to alter all of the cat. I am almost 100% positive that any of the three low cost clinics I mentioned above would work with you on cost since you are doing the right thing. PM if you want more info or to discuss your needs and etc. Oh and if you have not realized it already expect alot of negative and assanine posts and feedback from this post but please do not let that discourage you!

Lucky Ones should be able to point you in the right direction. I also know there is a place that specifically works with the feral cats. I'll have to see if I can find that info out for you. Oh, Lucky Ones I think is in Charlotte Hall.

Lucky Ones, over in Charlotte Hall, has a feral they were never able to home. She is a tabby and comes and goes as she pleases. She was friendly to me when I was there but I was warned, without a warning she'll just bit.

They will work with ya! Great people over there!

Yep she is doing the right thing, she inherited a bunch of cats and now wants to do right by them. I don't see how anyone can disagree with it. Good for you Loper!
