There's also a group called "Friends of Felines" located in St. Leonard and they specialize in ferals. phone number is 410-495-7839. I've rec'd alot of good advice from them re trapping, low fee spay/neuter, for barn cats. spay/neuter is the best solution and you're truly doing the right thing. Good luck!

The racoon was quite brazen and could care less that we were right there, but showed no signs of being rabid or anything and the cats could care less about it eating the cat food put out.I talked to some folks at the Well Pet Clinic and they gave me the prices they have, 55 for fixing females and 35 for males. Of course adult cat wise I know there are more females than males. The males seem to have quite the harems. ![]()

| No kidding, kiddies... If you're dealing with feral cats make sure your shots are up to date and you are wearing thick leather gauntlet-style gloves. I'm not a big cat lover, but I applaud your love for animals. (And every farm needs some meowsers to keep the rodent population down.) But feral cats are a hotbed of biological nasties. Please play safe.

Only costs a bit of kitty food per week. (Or they'll kill me.... so it's a good trade.)

I would do the females first if I were you. It only takes 1 male to breed the gals, so even if you neuter 9 out of 10 males you'll still get kittens. Controlling the females first would give you the quickest results. Good luck! ![]()
