Thoughts on second pet

I would like to get a second cat. I adopted a kitten last year but had to be put down due to untreatable illness. None the less, my older cat did not take her very well and they constantly fought... up until the very end when they would actually play together. To me it seemed like she was alittle depressed when our kitten was no longer with us. But 3 months later she seems happy as anything.

Which do you think would be less disruptive: a male, female.... or a kitten, full grown cat.... or even my husband wants to get our first dog.

I think she'd be the least pissed off by a male kitten.

I think an otter would make a lovely second pet.

Yeah, there's a free one listed in the classified at least once a month.

Only once a month? I thought it would be MUCH more often.

And it comes complete with its natural habitat and food: TV, Catnapper lounge, Lite beer, and Cheez-its.

Just remember, dogs are like babies, you have to get a babysitter to go anywhere. If you like to travel, get another cat, or ...............

make friends with someone who will dogsit.

Cats are a lot easier to take care of. I will never have another dog again. Once my dogs are gone they will not be replaced. I love them, but I just find my cats easier to deal with. Good Luck!

...should get some cats. Lots of them. We have many makes and models from the newest, greatest, latest to more...seasoned...models. And, right now, they are ALL on sale!

Come and get them!

Check out this site...they have great advice on how to incorporate a multi-pet household, how to address problem behaviors (dogs/cats), etc. Great info here.
