| Both of my cats have only had bad breath when they had an upper respiratory infection. I don't think it is normal. |

| she is 2 years old. teeth are fine. she is taking chlor-histamine. maybe thats the cause.

| Well I made an appointment for the vet in the am. She doesn't seem like herself. Better to be safe then sorry.

| A sign of CRF (renal failure) is bad breath as well. Might be a good idea to check kidney values. Sure wouldn't hurt. Kidney failure at 2 years old is not common but it happens. I learned so much when mine was diagnosed. |
