Have you gone to Tri County? There's a cat there that looks close but I don't think it's him...you need to go look, don't rely on just talking to the people that work there.

You might also want to put a trap on your porch. If he's an indoor only kitty, he could be very frightened and hungry. You might be able to catch him.

Good Luck!

my bf thinks he saw him the other night but it was real dark and he's not sure.

i have not tried Tri County. but petey is microchiped. so if he ended up there they would have called. same with the humane society.

Ive looked around the dumpsters late at night. still nothing.

Do not ever rely on someone to call you. GO TO TRI COUNTY AND LOOK FOR YOURSELF.

A week? Good Lord..not to be Debbie Downer but he could have already been euthanized or adopted by somebody else.

It's true though, a week is long time to wait, can't guarantee they will check to see if an animal is chipped. I certainly wouldn't rely on anyone from the shelter to make a phone call.

you can also report your kitty missing on tri-counties web site

Charles County Government

not as effective as going up but at least something that can be done from home before you go up. you can let them know that your kitty is chipped

they also have photos of some of the animals there.

Don't give up hope, my Diva was gone over 5 days... then suddenly appeared.
