I've done research and if you don't pick them up in the correct way the force of their back legs as they struggle can break their back.

Hopefully, someone will read this and I can get Bunny inside (spoiled brat will have a private room)..until I get the hutch.
We had a huge white rabbit when I was a kid. It seems to me we picked him up like a small dog, supporting his back legs. Hope that helps

I have a Bunny, and that's how I pick him up. No scruffing, because they freak out, and that's how their backs get broken from what I've heard.

I did read that...no scruffing. I'm an excellent scruffer with my kitty's.

Rabbits get stressed out and will kick their hind legs at such a velocity they can break their backs.

I've done all the research and am just hoping someone can come over and demonstrate for me.

This Bunny will have a good home but I still have my fingers crossed that someone will adopt him/her or claim him/her.

If anybody knows anything about the care of rabbits please PM me.

He/she is an adult and I'm scared about picking him/her up and being bitten.

My cats had to go out and surprisingly they had no animosity towards Bunny.

If nobody claims Bunny I will be keeping him/her.

He/she seems to have chosen me.
If he goes down a hole just don't try to follow him.

There's a huge hole on the side of the driveway. I thought it was the resident groundhog that made it. Maybe not.

This is not funny. Peter and Bunny were humping in the neighbor's yard.

Yes on the supporting the back legs-- just watch out for the claws. They can be very sharp. I would worry more about being scratched then bitten. And hold close to your body- they like the security. Good luck!

Would you like two rabbits?

Somebody from the forums PM'd me and we will trap them early next week. They know all about rabbits.

They also know a vet who will do a spay/neuter at minimal cost.

Bunny was eating out of my hand earlier today. Peter might be more of a challenge.
