| Domestic kittens need a home (indoor or outdoor) There is a feral colony of cats in Upper Marlboro not far from the Courthouse along the RR tracks. There are a few businesses back in there, and not all of the business owners are cat people apparently. One man in particular has been harming the cats and has threatened to poison them. Some cats have turned up dead. Among the feral cats there, a few domestic cats also have taken up residence after being dumped there (per one of the business owners who saw cats being pushed out of a car). The kittens in these pictures are domestic and tame despite living among feral cats. PLEASE help us find these kittens a home. They were born during Spring 2012. They have been living outside, so whether they end up in an indoor or outdoor home is fine, we just want them to have a home where they can be cared for.

| This may be a dumb question, but how can you tell the difference between a domestic and a feral cat?

| The ferals will run if you approach them. They generally act like wild animals that fear humans. I have seen prior colonies of ferals that had a few domesticated cats in their midst. Some people say ferals don't allow domestic cats in their colony, but I've seen several cases where they co-exist.

| Ark, you are breaking my heart here. Last year we lost 2 of my best friends Petey, and Zero. Two of the best cats in the world. I think i know where you are talking about up in Upper Marlboro, may have to swing by and check it out. No promises, but looking at these kiddoes in your pictures breaks my heart.

| My mom lives on a busy road in La Plata next to a farm and has colony of cats that she has been feeding for some time now. So far, I have adopted 2 of them. Some the cats/kittens are very friendly, some not. But I will say that those 2 cats are some of the best ones I have ever adopted. |

| I have a friend that may be interested in 1 of the 2 white kitties. I had a white cat when I was growing up and "George" was deaf.

We didn't have the funds to keep going, so there are still a few kittens being born there (obviously) until we can catch and fix the remaining breeders.
