Recommended Petsitters

I am looking to change petsitters. After this Labor Day weekend trip, I found the petsitter was not filling up my water dish, furthermore, the price per day is 15 dollars and an extra 5 on labor day. So for the whole trip it was 80 dollars. A friend of mine only pays 10 dollars in the Columbia area and it appears her petsitter is a lot more interactive with her cat.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that you had such an expensive experience! That sounds like quite a bit of money for what your needs were. I'm a pet sitter who offers services in the St. Mary's, Charles, and Calvert counties...and it's actually a pleasure for me to interact with animals (not a chore!).

I'm a college educated gal who does freelance writing for a living. That means my schedule is flexible and I can take care of animals round the clock -- or just during normal business hours. If you're planning a vacation, I'll make sure to ask if you'd like your plants watered, your newspaper brought indoors, and your mail picked up. Those are just common courtesies anyone should offer!

Your dog or cat will receive attention every day, including walking or exercise -- whatever you've specified! I can certainly give medication as well.

In my own home, our pets rule the roost! We consider them family members, and I expect that most people feel the same way about their own animals. I treat each animal I care for with love and respect...it's how I hope my own are treated when I need to travel.
