Have you thought about using "Soft Paws". You can get them in different colors. It is plastic inserts that are glued over the claws. They last about for about 4-6 weeks. As long as the claws stay trimmed they work. Plus it is funny to watch the walk the first hour or so till they get used to them

Also they have an alternative where you can get your kitty's nails capped (little caps put on the end) that the vet can help you do or you try yourself

I love my cat and didn't want him to be hurt, but it took all of one day for him to get over it and a week or so before the bandages came off.
Meanie.

P.S. My kids are WAY more destructive than my animals, but you've given me a great idea, I'll have their fingers whacked off, that'll prevent the little demons from spilling chit on my new couch.

Timon had them on briefly, but I found it was a little difficult to get them on. He's more than cooperative while his nails get trimmed, but trying to glue on nails wore his patience out. And yes, he is from PFLR.

Bad day?

You forgot about the dew claws. I didn't whack Abbey's ears and I didn't have Biscuits done. Tail docking when done at three days or so is nothing more than cartilege. Sure it's painful.

And there won't be any puppies at my house.

I was asked my opinion on claws and I gave it. Sheesh.

I'll have to remember that in a few years.

Actually, we've already set aside room in the basement to tie them up until they're 20.

JUST KIDDING!
