I use the usb720. I've had it replaced twice in less that a year. When it works it works good.

I love mine - quick, very easy to set up and log onto. It's pretty expensive, I think around $60 a month, but I need it for when I travel so it's worth it for me.

You get true high speed near larger cities, but even when you're outside the range and get the slow speed, it's still not too bad. Definitely better than dialup.

Using an EVDO router with a Verizon KPC-650. Gives you 4 enet ports and Wi-Fi connections. Newer stuff out there, been using this for about a year.

I see that their plans are either $39.99 for 50 MB or $59.99 for 5 GB.

I'm going to assume that I'll need the 5 GB version.

I'm just sick and tired of crappy NetZero. Way too many years with them. Can't get DSL and the satellite is way too expensive.

This will definitely pay off when I make the pilgrimage to Australia. I wonder if it works out there.

The plans with $39.99 for 50 MB is BS.
PM me and I will meet you after your work and let you surf the web in the parking lot and you can see the speeds. I will also let you see my logs for MB and hours used. I love it. I have access 24 / 7. It's Great.

Running the Verizon USB without any problems. As a matter of fact, I'm up in PA right now using it! If you are a old customer - you can download more then 5GB. Verizon's TOS says you can't game, phone, just browsing and mail. If you are a new Verizon customer - anything over 5GB a month will cause expensive overcharges (and I mean EXPENSIVE)! SO, if you plan on going over 5GB (want to game, etc.) - stay away from Verizon and go with Sprint since they have no GB limit and allow you to run it with a router, etc. and costs the same ($59/month).

Sprint is unlimited - same price of $59.99 a month... I have tested both and Sprint's network has a slightly faster sustained transfer rate.

I would have gone with Verizon though if it was not for the 5GB cap - you break it one too many times and they will cancel the account.
