Use the view finder, holding your camera away from your face gives you crappy pictures.

if it's not a current model, repair will be difficult and expensive. Since electronics evolve so quickly, it's not possible to stock parts for all models. Make sure you get an estimate prior to repair and compare that to equivalent new camera prices.

well yeah i already went onto the website and they said it was a fee of 80 give or take depending on the damage. but i def am considering a new camera all together but it sucks because this one is pretty much brand new and the only big issue with is is that i print my pictures from that camera directly to a kodak printer. but thanx

My screen on my Kodak broke I sent it to the factory they will give you a price to fix it and if you want them too and if you wan it back without repair they charge you shipping, I had one repaired all they basically do is send you a rebuilt model. And it was ok except when you used the video you could hear the gears when you zoomed in/out on the playback.... Not worth it get a new one..

Sounds like u and I have the same problem .. I have a Kodak camera that my Great Aunt dropped and it broke the hinge on the battery door so it won't stay shut.. I contacted Kodak and they said something like $79 and blah blah.. and I was like hmm.. it was gonna cost around $100 finally - so I called Best Buy - they send it to a contractor for $40 and they let u know how much it'll cost/parts wise and all that and its done in a week.. I called Ritz camera - figuring they were a camera place - up to a month to look at and the girl came out and told me - it'd be cheaper for me just to buy a new camera.. but mine is not that old and takes beautiful pics and I have the Kodak camera dock for it so I hate not to get it fixed..

My kodak camera broke and it is just easier to buy a new one and not go through the whole ordeal.
