Text for websites

Does anyone know of a good site to download free text for websites? I've found a few sites, but not the type of letters I'm looking for.

Are you talking about different "fonts" for your website? Remember - if you are specifying a particular font (inside your HTML) - it will only display IF the visitor has that font installed on his/her workstation. Otherwise, the visitors browser will simply substitute its own default font.

That's exactly what I'm not looking for. Here's an example of one of the sites I found.

IconBAZAAR - Alphabets

I guess you would call them alphabet sets. But I need a certain type that is transparent.

Glad I could help. But you get the idea what I'm talking about then? There aren't many sites like that. Just wondering if they are titled under something else.

Unforuntaley, they are listed under many names (depends on the author). It really is "hit and miss." You might want to search under google and then when you get a listing - select IMAGES. Many times that will give you an idea what the author is thinking about (fonts vs. graphics).

dafont.com has a good selection of fonts, if thats what you're after.
