| Why is my computer video choppy? Here are some specs, but not sure if there is further information needed to figure out the issue. Thanks in advance! AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+ 2121 GHz 2GB Ram NVIDIA GE Force 7900 GTX Noticing chopiness playing any sort of videos, both online and hard drive. Thank you for any friendly advice! |

| Usually caused by one of a couple of things. 1) make sure you've got the latest and greatest driver. Don't just install the new one, de-install the old driver, reboot, then install the updated driver. 2) Processor interrupt, could be malware or another program stealing CPU cycles. Run the Task Manager to see if something is using more CPU that it should. 3) In the Video Properties, Advanced Tab, Troubleshooting, try changing the Acceleration.

| I would also add that you run a derfag (with something other than the default Windows - such as Diskeeper) and Disk Cleanup. If you are running out of Disk Space, it could cause video problems. |

| If you try all of the above it may be your graphics card fixing to bite the dust. Your heat sink could have gone bad and killed your graphics card from what Dell told me on my lappy when it started doing that. |
