Anyone know how to..

get around a jpg that has security in it to where I believe they passworded it? so you can only view it, but can't copy it? Is there a way around it? I believe its in FlipAlbum software. TIA

If all else fails...

I think this is what I've done before:

Save the whole webpage. Now go to the folder where it's saved and you should have the image.

It's not the best way, but works.

if it fits on your screen, you could always try to print screen option. then you just paste it into something like paint.

We have Snagit at work. Their site said something about a free 30-day trial version, or I imagine there is probably some similar free/shareware program out there somewhere.

silly snagit. still don't understand why NMCI gave me that instead of something more useful.

that's a good idea though. it cuts out the step of doing printscreen. instead you just highlight the area you want and immediately copy it (which is what you'd do once you print screen and paste into paint).

In IE, if you just place the cursor over the image it will open up some icons and save is one of em...this still works on most that are "right click" protected.

Adding to that post -- any website that is "right click protected" -- you do the right click, it pops up saying "NO YOU CAN'T DO THAT" and the second you click ok you need to pop the right-click again. You'll usually sneak your way through. Try the space bar the hit OK also.

I could say that it's protected just to prevent someone from doing what you are trying to do.....

But you know that already, dontcha?
