I like the shows but some of those vendors are crooks. A lot of the quality parts and good prices have left the building.

I went to the last one in Waldorf. So there I am checking out this cool little Acer mini PC. Dude says they're brand new, just got released, and he has a special deal with the manufacturer to offer them at an introductory price.

So I get to looking the thing over and check the obvious, which is the manufacturer date label. The PC was made over 9 months ago.

I didn't say nothing, made a mental note of the model number, came home and Googled it. 30% cheaper all over the web.

You have to dig to get a good deal at these shows.
