| i don't know if you copied/pasted the link or what, but it definitely links you to microsoft.com from here. I checked the microsoft website and got to that link (minus the computer # part at the end) to see it discussing upgrade. Any chance you registered yourself on some sort of Windows list? |

I'd check via the actual website and not click the link (or right click and copy where the link sends you to see if it's the same). That's the way to avoid bad crap like that. I've heard Windows 7 is much better than Vista. If I could get an upgrade, I'd probably take it. | |

Maybe this is something Microsoft is doing to remove the stigma of Vista The actually had a few e-machines with XP on them. Heading down later this week to get her one. | |
