Windows 7 problem??

I upgraded to Windows 7 this weekend and, ever since, all my images/photos have changed to red 'X's. My settings are checked to 'show pictures'. What other settings could you suggest I check? I have AOL 9.1. Please take nothing for granted in your response!

do you mean the images stored on your computer like personal photos, or the images you're trying to see while you're browsing the internet?

Both. For instance, some of the icons in the Post Icons section show the image, but most are X's and have the descriptive word next to it. Also, a website I've been working on that was showing both personal and other photos/images before now doesn't show much of either. I can't say it was the program because I fooled around with some other settings but I can't think of any I changed that would have had this affect.

first, try and use a different browser. since you probably don't have other browsers, try internet explorer. if you are using internet explorer 8 that came with windows 7, there should be a button to the right of your address box called compatability view. it looks like a piece of paper ripped in half. give that a click.

Try runing the website on comparability mode, that should fix it.

Also try firefox instead of IE see if that fixes your issue.

Is AOL 9.1 compatible with Win7? I am willing to bet it's AOL and not Win7, as this is probably the most stable OS MS has ever released.

I run IE8 in Compatability Mode for all site;

Tools | Compatability View Settings -> check the box "Display all websites in Compatability View"
