Android vs iOS – Which Is Really More Stable? New Data May Surprise You
Quote:
Surprisingly, Crittercism’s data (gathered from more than 214 million app launches between November and December of 2011) shows that apps on iOS crashed much more frequently than comparable apps on Android.
Woops!

iPhone 4. Commercial apps and their standard apps crash all the time and the whole system crashes frequently. I will never buy another Apple product again.

iHate iPhone.

Apps? i-phones? Androids? Whatever?

Cell phones are for voice comms. Anything else is just laziness.

Like in not addicted to the latest tech?

Do you think voice comms - talking - is not a bad, outdated thing?

Unfortunately, verbal comms are becoming a thing of the past.

Oh, well.....

To paraphrase a previous poster on this thread, screw i-anything.

Apple is/was Jobs - popsicle-man with a black turtleneck. A genius, yes. Putting people in the "cloud", where face-to-face, or verbal communications is not necessary, not so much.

I absolutely agree about keeping good communication skills, but to act like mobile technology is a bad thing is ludicrous.

I pay my bills, book travel, carry work docs, keep my scheduler, buy tickets, keep my movies/music, find various places/things in a new place, etc. All within seconds. Can I do these things the old, conventional way? Sure, but if it saves time and makes things easier why not.

I spend much of my personal/professional life traveling, and it's made it so much easier. Just because people enjoy or benefit from technology doesn't mean they are addicted or have isolated themselves to it.
