| Apps? i-phones? Androids? Whatever? Cell phones are for voice comms. Anything else is just laziness.

| Like in not addicted to the latest tech? Do you think voice comms - talking - is not a bad, outdated thing? Unfortunately, verbal comms are becoming a thing of the past. Oh, well..... To paraphrase a previous poster on this thread, screw i-anything. Apple is/was Jobs - popsicle-man with a black turtleneck. A genius, yes. Putting people in the "cloud", where face-to-face, or verbal communications is not necessary, not so much.

I pay my bills, book travel, carry work docs, keep my scheduler, buy tickets, keep my movies/music, find various places/things in a new place, etc. All within seconds. Can I do these things the old, conventional way? Sure, but if it saves time and makes things easier why not. I spend much of my personal/professional life traveling, and it's made it so much easier. Just because people enjoy or benefit from technology doesn't mean they are addicted or have isolated themselves to it.
