POP/IMAP Info For New Droid

I'm trying to access my email account at somd.net free email. Does anyone know what the POP or IMAP server info for this email service. I have tried everything I can and I can not get the account to load on my new phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you need to open a gmail account, then have your settings to "fetch" your other email into it. You'll still be able to send and in your settings have it show that it's return email shows your preferred addy and not the gmail, or let the gmail show. I have a POP email that is fetched into my gmail on my phone and have it check for new email every 10 mins, so I don't miss anything. If you are coming from blackberry, it's a little different, but works pretty much the same. D/L the Gmail app, then go into settings and set it up the way you prefer. IT might be easier to set up the gmail account on a computer and then log into with the new phone.

Thanks Katt. That's basically what I ended up doing. Was hoping to get direct access, but, I had to use the Gmail workaround instead. It's close enough.

Hmm, shouldnt need to fetch through your Gmail, I get all my work mail on a separate account on both my old OG Droid and the new Razr Maxx. Only issue it has is that for some reason ecrypted signatures give it fits, but everything else come through fine. All I really need now a damn Deltek app and I'll be set. Moto tells me they are working on the signature thing.
