google ad blockers

I am using a google ad blocker Google Disconnect and it seems to block youtube videos in the forum. Why would youtube be connected with Google?

Might be just the redirect, but for some odd reason I think google is attemping to steal a little more real estate.

Try ad blocker for chrome- I find it blocks all I need blocked and nothing more. Hulu speaks up and says turn it off to watch their content (and ads, obviously) but thats the only site so far in years I have found that detects it and/or gets messed up because of it.
