| Facebook Messages Have you not been getting any Facebook private messages lately? Or have you been sending Facebook private messages and not getting a response? I may have the answer why: Why is Facebook charging $100 for messages? - The Week Excerpt: the ubiquitous social network is now giving you the option to pay a hefty $100 to send a message directly to a total stranger's inbox. Without ponying up the cash, your message goes to the dreaded "other folder" Excerpt: The fee seems to jump from $1 to $100 when the person you're messaging has a whole bunch of followers, or is a well-known public figure. ------ So make sure to start checking your "other folder". You do not get a notice that you have mail there.

| Today I got messages from friends and messages from friends of friends, which is all I want. Spammers and stalkers can pay FB $100 if they want and I'll delete their message just the same. |

| Received an email regarding a "class action lawsuit" with FB. Apparently a previous status that I posted was used in a sponsored ad without my consent. I stand to gain $4.00 if I don't opt out....

Today I got a message for a girls night out and noticed that many guys got invited also - the message starter had to let them know that they weren't actually invited. 'Cuz it is GIRLS night out.

| Haven't seen anything like it. I have no cute little FB apps loaded, so that may be why. Too many unreliable apps, so many privacy problems and data mining attempts - I don't trust Facebook much more than Larry's firefox does (though I use FB all of the time) that I refuse to allow any apps that come with it. I don't think I'm missing out on anything by not having them.
