Google Calendar on PC Desktop?

Thanks - getting to the Calendar through a browser is easy enough - I would rather have it just sitting on my Desktop (so I don't have to load the browser to view it).

It is a web service so that it will always connect online even with 3rd party software.

Lists some but you need to be careful they don't have malware

Outlook could sync as well if you have a 3rd party software. https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gappssync

I wouldn't buy outlook though just to have a calendar.

That's interesting, can you share calanders with anyone? Say if I have one, can I share it with someone else. And when I update it they will see those updates?

Yes. But you have to give them permission.
