Don't do it.

If you ever want to cancel your account expect to be placed on hold in excess of 30 minutes. Today is the third time I've called since last Friday and I've been on hold with them a total of over 1.5 hours.

You are trying to cancel your account, and you expect good service I would string you along too.

Yeah and I'm about to blow a gasket. After hanging up this morning I called and chose the "connect new service" option. Ironically, I was on the phone with a rep in less than 2 minutes.

and vonage doesn't blow it works just fine here. Maybe its your internet service that blows not vonage have you ever thought of that since it is run through your internet connection?

It works fine - when it wants to. I'm moving and I won't have internet service at my new residence. They still blow.

you could be right nickel but I like paying a flat fee even to make long distance calls etc. The only thing that might stink is if the cable goes out nobody can call in but hey if that happens I got my cellphone which is no biggy as I have a lot of minutes.

I like Vonage. Works great and there's no cheaper alternative that I've seen yet.

I agree with you Sharon 100% and I like it a lot too.
