Cell Phone

The DH needs to upgrade his cell phone and I was looking for recommendations on cell phones. I need something that gets awesome service and can handle wear, tear, dropping, and all that stuff. His carrier is Verizon.

The phone by Casio...think it is called the Gzone. It is the one i have.

Shock, Dust, and Water Resistance.

I answer calls in the shower. Drop it all the time, and take it camping with no worries.

What about service? Does it work well with that? The one he has now picks up in places my EnV can't. The only reason he's upgrading is because the boy got ahold of the phone and now the earpiece is broke and they don't make it anymore.

I've had my LG for about 4 years...the same phone. I love it. That sucker is tough, and still works great. I've dropped it a bazillion times!

Many of the new age cell phones have the antenna inside for fashion and marketing considerations.
My overpriced fancy Razor [with an internal antenna] is a bad cell phone compared to Kim's cheap Nokia [that was free with her plan] because the cheaper, less fashionable, phone has a decent antenna which is outside the case.
I could go on for pages about how we provide a engineered solutions, but I than am at risk of having this post bounced for looking like an ad.
I just ask you look at our Signal Bars R Us posting in the SOMD service directory for ways to get reliable cell and wireless data card service anywhere in "The County".
