OR you could write him back, and tell him it's such a great deal and such a great car that you are willing to fly out to california to take delivery in person, and to meet his wife and child..

Oh, and that your husband will be traveling with you.. and you've contacted an auto appraiser there that would like to see the car prior to travel.

Kind of a HUGE hint right there.. I'm guessing their last scam e-mail had to do with a motorcycle.. they screwed up in their editing.
That caught my eye, too, but I guessed it referred to some sort of restoration process...as soon as you said "motorcycle" it all made sense. Just one more scam among the millions out there.

He also mentioned "custom papers" in the first email. Um, you don't need customs papers to ship from California.

Has anyone noticed that the latest Nigerian scams are coming out of Hong Kong? I have bankers from Hong Kong contacting me all the time about unclaimed money in accounts there.

Ebay's buyer protection will not cover if you do not buy through Ebay. And the funds can only go through specific Ebay fund channels.

ITS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Free IP tracker if you can exptract their IP from their email header.

This source form an IRS e-mail that explains i was owed a >$100 refund form an error on last years return..

E-Mail originated in Romania..
