Advertising?

What sorts of places, newspapers, websites, etc., would a person in the St. Mary's county vicinity do best to advertise a home FSBO (Aside from SOMD.com, of course ) and reach the largest target audience of folks transferring into the area for work on base?

For Sale By Owner (as in, without the use of a Real Estate Agent)

More people look in the MLS than anywhere else for a house. If you can get it in the MLS (cheaply), then it should be showing up realtor.com and the local MLS site homesdatabase.com.

FSBO MLS - Google Search

Obviously Somd.com is an excellent way because most people relocating to the area find us online when they're researching.

So that's a good question - anyone who has relocated recently, how did you find your home?

FSBO MLS - Google Search
That's a great idea!

Clubn, it seems to me that most people would want to search the HomesDatabase, so if you can get your house listed in there, it would get excellent visibility.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the good advice, and it seems like the MLS is the way to go.

In the meantime, if you know anyone looking to buy a house...
