Land's End

customer service ROCKS!! You call them up and a real live *pleasant* person answers the phone and you are on your way to experiencing what REAL customer service is all about.

We were having a problem with a gift item that required me to send a .jpg. The wife sent in two files, one larger than the other and they were having problems opening the smaller file. I kept getting an automated response saying the file was too large. Mind you, the deadline for this item is the 17th so I'm starting to sweat it some. After resending and a couple of phone calls I get an email from the art dept over there and I resend the file. Viola! The attachment gets opened the artwork goes into production and we'll have two teary eyed grandmothers on Christmas Day.

Follow up. Land's End called me to confirm receipt of my files and gave me my logo and tracking number. Now we have to call them back and finalize the process.

There are a few companies known for their outstanding customer support and Land's End is definitely one of them, as are L.L.Bean and Coldwater Creek. I've never had a bad experience with any of them.

I used to have a lot of stuff from them, especially when one of my dear friends had an employee's discount card and let me use it. You ought to go up to their store in Maine - it's awesome.

But me and Coldwater Creek are very good buddies now. Most of my dressy clothes are from them.

Just got a catalog in the mail the other day.
I scanned through it, but I didn't see any lady models in any type of lingerie.
So I threw it back on the kitchen table.

There is a Coldwater Creek outlet store in Myrtle Beach that my wife and MIL absolutely pillage every year. When they go to that store it is Daddy and little guy day.:puttputt:
