| I buy the tall bottles with the sport top that pops up. When empty I refill them from the filtered water tap on my fridge. I reuse them over and over, when they get too battered I recycle them. Cost effective and has minimal impact on the landfill. Hubby brings them to the gym and just brings the empty bottle home with him.

| I buy bottled water all the time. It's convenient and quick to grab out of the fridge. I take one bottle to work with me each day and fill it up a few times via the kitchen faucet. I don't resuse them for several days because they can get germy. Ewww!

| I agree with Chasey. Grab and go. I would recycle them if it was easier. But it is not very easy around here to recycle. Most places have a single stream recycling system in place. Where you can put all of your recyclables (is that a word?) in one container and put it out with your regular trash. Then they take it and sort it and recycle it. I can't even remember to put out my trash on the right days. Then you want me to sort and separate items and put them out on another day? |
