Guy Motors - Mechanicsville

Anyone used Guy Motors in Mechanicsville? What do you think of their work and are they overpriced? I have to have some minor things done (tune up, etc.) and don't just want to go anywhere and get ripped off. Soooo, what do you think?

I had some work done on my car there and was very pleased. They actually came recommended so that is why I went there. As for price...I did think they were high but then again aren't most places anymore?!? Take it there and get a estimate just to see then if it sounds way over priced try somewhere else (or call around and get a price for the same services).

I have also had work done on my car by them last summer. Had them change my timing belt (high price anyway), change spark plugs and wires, change brake and transmission fluid, pretty much the whole 60,000 mile maintence work performed. Also had them use that carbon cleaner system they have. I thought that the price was good and their customer service was great. Got the car back the next morning. Have not had a problem witht he replacement parts. Plus they sent me a 10% coupon in the mail the next time I visit them. I would go there again. Like the post before, you could call around and get estimates of prices.

Try Jay over at the Sunoco on Lexington Park. Just north of the base. I take all of my cars to him. Very very honest. Not to expensive either.

Depending on where you are at you could also try Prolink in the prince fredrick industrial park. HE replaced my rear end in the blazer and did the brakes for a great price.
