| At home he gets 100% juices... but the "fruit punch" at fast food places has more sugar than sweet tea. Yes he had fries, no that's not what's in the tea because at the time he was drinking the tea he was not eating fries. Besides, these are large chunks, some too large to have been "backwashed" in to the straw. If I didn't feel a little ill this morning and had he not puked spectacularly last night the entire contents of his stomach, I wouldn't have been as concerned. He seems to be fine now and after he puked last night he was fine as well. As for the "sugar overload" theory, sweet tea is one of his favorite drinks and I've let him drink it on multiple occasions with no adverse side effects.

Why can't we make this darkness feel like home? |

| Is milk not an option for your child? Fast Food restaurant drinks have about a 2000% profit margin When I eat there, I'll use a coupon to grab a couple of the burgers and then take them home to eat them with a glass of milk. well, not actually a "glass" of milk. Since I'm single, I can just drink out of the bottle ![]() |

| Ask the Dr. or Dentist if this is good and see what they say about the sugar laying in the childs mouth while sleeping and the damage it can do to the teeth as well as to the teeth under the gums. Turns them black and they rot and child will have to have them pulled to keep from ruining his primary teeth that haven't come in yet. JMO |

Caffeine inhibits the body's ability to use calcium. A growing child should not drink anything that contains caffeine.
