| How come she doesn't look this stuff up before defending herself? Everyone knows you shouldn't let kids have tea, my freakin' pediatrician told me that years ago. ![]()

). Not sure what that bottled stuff the fast food places use has in it, but consider you make a pitcher of iced tea with 4-5 tea bags it's pretty diluted compared to a regular afternoon cuppa. ![]()

| Caffeine Content Looks like many bottled iced teas are pretty tame, but you do have to worry about the sugar content. Bottled stuff is way to sweet for me. ![]()

| Big deal. I fed my kids spoonfuls of sugar in their cereal bottles because they didn't like it otherwise. And I'd give them cooled espresso so they'd stay up and we could play (they're only young once, you know). Then, when I was tired of playing with them and wanted them to go to sleep, I'd give them a shot of Jack. Worked like a charm ![]() ![]()

| Ya know, if it was just him that was sick I'd not have even thought about it... I've been nausiated since last night but figured it must be brought on by something else. He didn't eat anything from Checkers. He had already eaten dinner by the time I had picked him up. I had a baked potato from Wendy's and a BLT from Checker's because I was craving a BLT and didn't feel like making one at home. If you figure without ice the tea only is only about 16 oz of tea per glass (it's half filled with ice) and of that he drank maybe a total of 8 oz of tea. I drank about 4 oz and then sucked one of the chunks up the straw, went "what the heck?!?!" and looked at it. He drinks hot tea too, but doesn't have this reaction. He didn't "backwash" in to the straw because he wasn't eating anything when he was drinking from it. He had already eaten dinner.
