Debt Reduction / Management

Is anyone here familiar with a trustworthy debt reduction company? My mother is getting to retirement age and we have to get her monthly payments down in order for her to retire. My father died a couple of years ago and left her with a lot of credit card bills and she has also been paying for my grandmothers medical care and credit card bills. I really don't want to make her go through bankruptcy if we can do it another way.

The company I was looking at is

Franklin Debt Relief
200 S. Wacker Drive
31st Floor
Chicago, IL 60606
(312) 674-4995

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Be careful, most of those companies have you ruin your credit by not paying so they can buy the debt cheaply.

Yeah, I know. They can be really crooked. That's why I was asking if someone had experience with a reputable one.
