Yes, because it is pink. I'll even settle for the purple one, but I would prefer pink.

after much deliberation, I'm gonna try an Oreck. If it doesn't blow my skirt up, it's Dysonville, here I come.
My thing is the weight of the things, however after reading, I understand "the ball" dramatically reduces the drag, and it's actually not so bad. (talked with the neighbor last night....she has one)

But the bags (Oreck) make me crazy, too. As soon as they get a little dirt in them, the suction is reduced. I'll be testing this theory.

Oreck is guaranteed for 21 years and it must me taken into the shop for a free check-up every year. (the shop is 1/2 mile away... so NBD)

I also have the Dyson Animal Ball (DC 15 I think), and it's not hard to use at all. The ball-swivel action makes vacuuming a snap around furniture, corners, etc. I've had mine for almost 2 years now and love it. I also love the attachment for stairs and furniture. Consider it an upper body work-out to push it around if you find it heavy at first.

Save yourself the hassle of returning the Oreck or being let down ... get the Dyson. If after a couple of weeks of use, you still find it too hard to push around, then go get the Oreck. But I'm betting dollars to donuts you'll get used to the Dyson in no time, and you'll love the results.

but isn't the 17 a bi+ch to use? I was thinking the "ball" (15 animal) would be better. Yes?
No?
