I know that a system should not leak refrigerant. Iv'e had a leak in the past and the company explained to me that the piping should be sealed and leak proof. They checked first with an electronic detector and then put dye in the system. They came back a week later and with an ultraviolet light found a small leak. It was repaired and hasn't leaked since.

FWIW - I have no beef with Winters. In fact, they are the ones that did the initial install of my system when our house was built.

Two techs came out and serviced my system. Very professional. Took their time to answer my questions.

The techs said that Winters did an excellent job with all the duct work etc.

The maintenance cost was very affordable.

I will be using them to service my system from now on.

I love Winter's, have used them for over 10 years, and wouldn't use anyone else. In fact, I am probably going to get a new heating system installed by them shortly and get rid of the nasty beast put in by my builder's subcontractor 6 years ago.

Your furnace reminds me of the one in A Christmas Story.
