| The College of Southern Maryland will host the FranklinCovey training session, “Winning Customer Loyalty: The 7 Habits of Outstanding Customer Service” at the La Plata Campus, Center for Business and Industry, Room BI-113 on April 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Led by a certified FranklinCovey trainer, the seminar gives a new approach to customer service training. Built on the foundations of Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” and Fred Reicheld’s “The Ultimate Question,” this training program builds customer service excellence one person at a time from the inside out. Participants will learn how to turn customer satisfaction into customer loyalty and how to turn the focus from a transaction cost to the lifetime value of each customer. They will also learn how to apply the seven habits of customer service. Early-bird registration prior to March 15 is $399 per participant. After March 15, training fees are $449 per participant, $399 per participant in a group of five to nine, $375 per participant for a group of 10 or more, or for Calvert, Charles, or St. Mary's chamber members. Continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m. and lunch will also be provided. Space is limited and participants should pre-register by contacting Linda Schleip at 301-934-7548, LindaS(at)csmd.edu or Karen O’Connor at 240-752-5479, KOconnor(at)csmd.edu.
